Background
Katelyn grew up in a small town in rural Kansas and attended Kansas State University to receive her B.S. in Kinesiology. She graduated from Wichita State University in 2015 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. After working for a year in Kansas, she began travel therapy moving between southeast Alaska, Hawaii, and Kansas for about five years. After moving to Anchorage in 2020, she knew she had found the place that she wanted to stay permanently.
Katelyn’s experience practicing in several settings including outpatient/orthopedics, home health, skilled nursing, and acute rehab has provided her with a well-rounded approach to evaluation and treatment of patients at any age or functional level.
Katelyn is a a certified McKenzie back specialist having received specialty training in McKenzie Diagnosis and Treatment for pathology of the spine and has had extensive experience working with post-operative rehab and return to sport/activity.
She enjoys skiing, hiking, fishing, and being active in her free time.
