Dr. Kathryn Abou Eid, DOT


Born and raised in Alaska, Katie earned her bachelor’s degree in public health at New Mexico State University. Upon graduation she worked to promote and advocate for diabetes education and awareness, where she realized her passion for direct patient care. She went on to become a certified nursing assistant and received her doctorate degree of occupational therapy from Creighton University. 

Katie has experience working in a wide variety of settings from inpatient rehab, acute care, skilled nursing, long term care, mental health, and outpatient with all ages ranging from pediatrics to older adults. 

She is passionate about helping patients achieve their goals and participate in daily activities to their best abilities. She strives to provide the best education, strategies, techniques, to improve function and quality of life for each unique individual and family. 

When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family exploring the outdoors, traveling, hiking, and running.
