Dr. Kathryn Abou Eid, DOT

Background 

Joey grew up in NE Arkansas where he attended Arkansas State University to receive his B.S. in Exercise Science in 2013 and Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2016. He began travel therapy moving between OK, IL, AR for about five years. Wanderlust grew in him and he moved to Anchorage in 2020.
Joey’s experience covers several settings including outpatient/orthopedics, skilled nursing, and acute rehab. This provides him with a well-rounded approach to evaluation and treatment of patients at any age, diagnosis, or functional level. He also has a SIJ certification through the Hesch Institute and is Dry needling certification through AAMT, while also being accepted into AAMT’s Fellowship program for 2023.
He enjoys writing, hiking, playing with his cats, and enjoying the Last Frontier in his free time.
Also, a pizza party sounds nice!
